HE Lecturer - Teacher Education

£31,925 - £40,640 pro rata

£4,167 - £5,305 actual salary

Hours: 5.5 hours per week

Location: Selby College

As a HE Lecturer you will:

• Design and deliver engaging schemes of learning and high-quality teaching, learning and assessment resources.
• Facilitate the development of core knowledge and professional skills to support trainee success
• Use a range of inclusive teaching methods, including digital tools, to enhance learner engagement and outcomes
• Effectively produce and manage every trainee’s individual teaching plan to ensure they achieve their highest potential

We are looking for enthusiastic professionals who can promote a culture of excellent behaviour, motivation and high learner performance through exceptional standards of teaching and learning. In addition, you should be an excellent team player and have a passion for supporting students to succeed.

You will have:

• Degree in any subject
• GCSE in Maths and English A*-C/9-4 or equivalent
• Masters in Education or other related subject
• Experience of working in the FE/HE sector
• A PGCE or recognised full teaching qualification
