We are seeking an exceptional Software Quality Assurance Analyst who specialises in test automation and associated technology. Working closely with DevOps engineers and other product roles, the role holder will be responsible for delivering high-value test automation, acting as an expert practitioner and ambassador for quality, and enabling early testing in a CI/CD environment.

Essential Attributes/Qualities

  • Highly proficient in Python
  • Able to produce fast, reliable and repeatable tests that enable CI/CD
  •  Hands-on experience in writing, maintaining and executing test automation using PyTest
  • Creating scripts that have been designed to run across multiple platforms, devices and browsers with very little intervention
  • Ability to significantly grow test automation provision
  • Ability to create powerful and compelling, easy-to-understand data and dashboards that demonstrate the value of test automation
  • Ability to prioritise effectively. We cannot test everything. We cannot automate everything we test. Knowing what to automate and how to automate it will be critical to success.
  • Clear understanding of test data management and the role it plays in successful automation
  • Focus on quality and scalability as well as the ability to efficiently and effectively troubleshoot and fix framework issues to ensure minimum downtime of our testing services.
  • Determination, flexibility and pragmatism. A focus on positively solving problems and finding solutions regardless of the challenge
  • Strong stakeholder skills with a desire to work collaboratively with others inside and outside the team

Desirable Attributes/Qualities

  • ISTQB Test Foundation certification or equivalent professional experience
  • Degree level education or equivalent professional experience
  • CI/CD in a DevOps or Agile environment
  • Experience with tools such as GitLab and Jira
  • API test automation
  • TDD / BDD experience
