UWE Bristol’s School of Health and Social Wellbeing has a fantastic opportunity for a music therapist with experience of clinical practice, teaching/mentoring, supervision and research to join our team on the Music Therapy MA.
You must hold a Master’s degree in Music Therapy, be registered with the HCPC as a Music Therapist, and have relevant clinical experience, specifically in working with adult populations.
You will be teaching on a postgraduate programme, and involved with assessment, curriculum development, research, and student support. A PhD (or equivalent experience) and fellowship of the HEA are desirable. You will share our focus on musical relationship, psychodynamic and music-centered approaches, decolonisation (with a focus on principles derived from Black feminist theory) and experiential musical learning.
This post is based at our Glenside Campus which is set within beautiful grounds in Stapleton, just three miles north east of Bristol City Centre.
