The Bezos Centre for Sustainable Protein at Imperial is the UK’s flagship hub for alternative protein innovation, translation, and impact. The Centre coordinates a global network of partners and industry stakeholders, and is developing initiatives such as accelerators, training programmes, and industry-facing platforms to accelerate adoption of sustainable protein solutions. You will play a critical role in coordinating the activities of a diverse network of external partners and researchers. The Centre brings together contributions from more than 40 principal investigators and over 120 postdoctoral researchers and PhD students across our global network. Projects span microbial, cultivated, and plant-based protein research, industrial engagement, training, and outreach. Each activity involves distinct stakeholders with different priorities, requiring excellent organisational skills, diplomacy, and attention to detail.
What you would be doingYou will play a critical role in coordinating the activities of a diverse network of external partners and researchers. What we are looking forEducated to a minimum of A-level or equivalent, with inclusion of a STEM subject. A degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline, or an equivalent level of experience. Project/programme management experience, coordinating internal and external activities to meet deadlines. Experience influencing the successful delivery of outputs, including engaging and directing complex groups of stakeholders and suppliers. Experience of presenting project outputs to external parties.
