The Humanities Division is seeking an experienced programming and engagement manager to develop and lead the Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities’ new schools engagement programme. This role is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and collaborative individual who is passionate about the many ways in which the arts and humanities can benefit the lives, education and future careers of young people and educators.
About you
As an experienced manager of arts engagement and/or outreach programmes, you will develop, coordinate and grow a sector-leading schools engagement programme grounded in humanities research. To do this, you will
This role is a transformative opportunity for candidates with prior experience as an arts and humanities educator or a learning and engagement manager with significant experience in a learning and outreach or youth engagement programming in the cultural sector. Knowledge of Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 curricula and familiarity with GCSE and A Level programmes will be an advantage once in post.
Applicants will be required to successfully pass a DBS check and pre-employment screening prior to appointment.
