Henley Business School, part of the University of Reading, is seeking a highly motivated and effective recruitment executive to join our Student Recruitment team. As a world-class business school, we work in a highly competitive market, attracting some of the brightest and best students from across the globe from undergraduates to PhDs. We have ambitious plans to continue our growth strategy and this post is a customer-service led role to support recruitment manager in their quest to provide outstanding service to potential students from initial enquiry to conversion and enrolment.

Henley Business School is respected internationally for its portfolio of postgraduate programmes, from the established Henley MBA to innovative new Master’s programmes exploring digital business. An opportunity has arisen for one exceptional recruitment talent to join the team on a full-time basis the successful candidates will be passionate about student recruitment and delivering high-quality services to internal and external stakeholders within brand guidelines. You will have a strong interest in student recruitment and marketing; experience of working in the education or higher education sectors; a passion for delivering high-quality consultation, plus a commitment to relationship marketing approaches using CRM.

Key responsibilities will include: supporting the Regional Manager to deliver agreed student recruitment marketing objectives, and supporting the implementation of a recruitment and marketing plan aimed at generating developing and converting leads, handling enquiries, nurturing and developing leads and assisting with applications where required. Excellent communication skills are essential along with attention to detail, a customer-focussed outlook and a positive, enthusiastic mind-set.

You will have:

  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience of international student recruitment or admissions, ideally within a university.
  • A customer service mindset with a positive attitude and team-spirit.
  • Accomplished planning and organising skills.
  • Excellent English Language skills, knowledge of Thai would be helpful but not essential.
  • An understanding of the international student journey.
  • The confidence and independence to travel internationally to events if required, often working unsupervised.
