Oxford has over 13,000 graduate students, representing more than 50% of the full-time student population. The provision of scholarships for postgraduate students is an area of crucial importance for the University. Student Fees and Funding (SFF)’s scholarships team assists in this by managing scholarship programmes and supporting other funding providers (such as colleges, academic departments, and external partners). SFF currently manages over 200 University scholarship programmes for 1,600 students, worth over £60m per year.

This role will manage a diverse group of scholarship schemes, and also work as part of SFF’s scholarships finance team on the financial administration of all of our scholarships.

Working at the University of Oxford offers several exclusive benefits:

  • 38 days’ annual leave (including public holidays), with options to buy extra days and earn additional long-service leave.
  • Generous family leave: up to 26 weeks’ full-pay maternity/adoption leave and 12 weeks’ full-pay paternity/partner leave.
  • Hybrid and flexible working.

While we are ideally looking for someone who meets the selection criteria, we are also committed to offering development opportunities.
