At The George Institute, we believe everyone has the right to a healthy life. We are a research organisation that finds solutions to some of the world's biggest health challenges.
From pioneering clinical trials to transformative digital health innovations, we’re translating evidence into scalable solutions that deliver real-world impact. It’s our ongoing dedication to rigorous, high-quality research that makes this a reality.
While our reach is global, our presence remains local, ensuring we understand the needs of our communities and that our projects are focused on what matters most to them.
But it’s not just our research – it’s how we approach it and turn it into action that makes a real difference. Combining our strong partnerships on the ground with our influence on the global health stage allows us to work with global policy makers to shape health policies and drive real change.
With major centres in India, Australia and the UK, and affiliated with the Manipal Academy of Higher Education, University of New South Wales and Imperial College London, we have over 245 active projects in more than 50 countries, we work with partners and communities across the world to conduct rigorous, high-quality research, making a real difference to people’s health, particularly those facing the most barriers.
We’re focused on a future where health equity is a reality, not just an aspiration. Together, we’re building a healthier, more just world, where everyone has the opportunity to achieve good health.
