The Royal Veterinary College (RVC) is seeking to appoint a new Head of Digital Learning.
The RVC has an outstanding track record being No.1 in the world QS world veterinary rankings. Ensuring the institution’s digital infrastructure for teaching, learning and the student experience meets the needs of our evolving curricula and supports the development of innovative learning solutions.
We are looking for an exceptional individual to help us make it happen.
The RVC is committed to creating opportunities for learning as part of a wider social activity in our community. Just as the physical campus spaces provide ways for students to study collaboratively or individually so too does the digital environment provide complementary opportunities to develop confidence in a range of future‐focused digital skills and competencies. As Head of Digital Learning, you will work with academic and professional services colleagues across the institution on the delivery of the RVC’s Blended Learning Strategy and our Strategic plan. You will work to support strategic digital learning projects and ensure a balance between addressing legacy issues and responding to changes in the way education is offered.
You will help the RVC to develop intentional strategies for the continual development of the digital learning ecosystem to meet our current and future needs.
An inspiring and influential individual, the Head of Digital Learning will be committed to, and capable of, effecting change, as well as being a proactive member of the leadership team within the Directorate of Learning and Wellbeing.
Our Behaviours Framework supports the RVC Strategy and provides a mechanism to help embed the RVC’s values, enhancing both individual and organisational performance.
We offer a generous reward package and benefits including:
