An exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a Senior Quality Assurance Manager within the Liverpool Clinical Trials Centre (LCTC). This post will suit anyone wishing to develop their experience of clinical research quality assurance.
The purpose of this post is to support the LCTC Head of Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs in the maintenance and development of the LCTC Quality Management System (QMS). Working under the supervision of the LCTC Head of Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs and in conjunction with the other LCTC Quality Assurance staff, you will oversee and maintain the LCTC QMS, including the LCTC controlled document system, auditing programme, training programme and non-conformity system. On occasion you will also develop and provide training, guidance and feedback to other members of the LCTC based upon your own knowledge and experience.
You will have a degree, (or equivalent) or relevant professional experience and will have experience of working within clinical trials and have a good understanding of the ethical and regulatory frameworks governing clinical research. You must have excellent attention to detail and possess effective organisational skills and communications skills.
3 years fixed term in the first instance (There is a permanent commitment of the University to this role though funding is a mixture of core support and research funding with a fixed-term profile).
