About the role

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join us as Director of Academic Registry, guiding critical University functions through a period of innovation and renewal. With a new Student Records System and emerging AI-enabled tools, this is a unique opportunity to modernise the way we support the student experience.

You will lead a high-performing department responsible for the full student lifecycle, from enrolment and assessment to records, timetabling and academic governance, ensuring our services are effective, future-focused and grounded in sector best practice.

About you

As Director of Academic Registry, you will have:

  • A strong understanding of academic regulations, student lifecycle processes, and sector-wide developments
  • Excellent planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • High level digital literacy, including student records systems and data compliance
  • Significant experience of leading operational services in a student-focused environment
  • Experience of contributing to strategic planning and translating vision into operational outcomes
  • Experience of developing and implementing systems and processes to enhance service delivery
  • A proven track record of managing teams through change and service improvement
