The College is delighted to invite submissions for its annual YIP Fellowships for visitors during the academic year 2026-2027.
The Yip Visiting Fellowships were generously endowed with benefactions from Professor George Yip for academics from the United States of America (since 2005) and academics from the People’s Republic of China (since 2013).
Those wishing to apply for a Yip Visiting Fellowship for American academics must be full-time Faculty members of a recognized US academic institution and hold American citizenship. Those applying for a Yip Visiting Fellowship from China  will be a full-time Faculty member of a recognized Chinese academic institution (or of a standing such that a secondment as a Yip Visiting Fellow would bring distinction to the College, and whose primary affiliation is in China). He or she must be a citizen of Mainland China or one of the two SARs of the PRC (Hong Kong or Macau). Both Fellowships are unrestricted as to the field of interest.
Yip Visiting Fellows are elected for one term only, the College provides accommodation (if required) but is not able to offer this for partners and/or families. Meals and accommodation are covered and are subject to the same arrangements as apply to other Fellows in College. Â This is a non-stipendiary post.
Applications should be made via the CASC Fellowship Application System; the link to the system can be found on the College webpage via the 'Apply' button above.
Applicants should provide a CV, statement of research (a brief description of the work that will be undertaken during the period of the Visiting Fellowship, not more than one A4 page) and two references.
The closing date for applications for an appointment during the academic year 2026-27 is 12:00pm on 30th January 2026. The deadline for references is one day later, 12:00pm on 31st January 2026.
It is helpful, though not required, if applicants can indicate their term of preference in their application.
