The Legacies project - Material and environmental legacies in the 21st century - funded by the European Research Council and led by Professor Virpi Timonen is recruiting two postdoctoral researchers in social science, with a focus on intergenerational relationships and future-oriented policy discourses in ageing societies.
These appointments are at Trinity College Dublin (Ireland). The topics that the researchers will investigate include but are not limited to:
Applicants must have a recent PhD in one of the social sciences, native speaker or equivalent proficiency in written and spoken English, excellent academic writing skills, and demonstrated ability to work productively with co-authors. The recruitment process will include an analytical writing exercise in English for shortlisted applicants. Knowledge of Italian, Korean, or Swedish is an advantage but not required.
The vacancies will be filled on a rolling basis. Appointments will be made for up to 2 years, with a probationary period of 6 months.
Appointment will be made on 2024-2026 IUA Researcher Salary Scale at a point in line with Government Pay Policy, depending on level of experience.
