About the role:
We are looking for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to join a multi-disciplinary research group focused on using –omic approaches to study immunological mechanisms driving post-infection sequelae and persistent symptoms in Long Covid and ME/CFS. You will work with Professors Rosemary Boyton and Daniel Altmann in the Faculty of Medicine to generate and analyse flow cytometry, proteomic, transcriptomic and cellular data.
What you would be doing:
You will lead laboratory experiments and bioinformatic analysis, including multi-parameter flow cytometry, RNA-seq (bulk and single-cell), and proteomic pipelines. You will analyse in-house and public datasets, write high-quality manuscripts, supervise students, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver impactful research.

*Candidates who have not yet been officially awarded their PhD will be appointed as a Research Assistant within the salary range £43,863 - £47,223 per annum
