Job Description
Candidates with teaching interest and key research strength in the following areas: Media and Culture, Media Psychology, Digital Design Thinking, Media Programming and Planning, Low Coding and Data Science, Social Media Management, Digital Transformation, Digital Storytelling, Data-Driven Media Management, Digital Media Technologies, Digital Business Models.
Job Requirement
Candidates should have a PhD degree in a related discipline or at least a Master’s Degree with teaching/industrial experience in a related discipline. The successful candidate is required to demonstrate an ability to undertake independent research leading to impactful outcomes, such as publication in high-quality, internationally recognized, indexed journals and other types of scholarly work as appropriate & recognized by their disciplines. Meanwhile, they are also expected to have a commitment to teaching excellence at undergraduate or postgraduate levels. Academic rank will be determined in accordance with the candidate’s experience and research accomplishments.
Benefits and Appointment Terms
Commencing salaries will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience. Fringe benefits include housing allowance, leave, social insurance and commercial insurance. Appointment to the position will initially be made on a fixed-term contract with mutual agreement.
