Fixed Term: 24 Months
Applications are sought for two committed Post-doctoral Research Fellows to work with Prof. Andrea Di Falco conducting research for an EPSRC funded project entitled 3D Nanoscale Metamaterials Hub for a Sustainable Future. The primary duties will be to design, fabricate, and characterise 3D metamaterials for optical computing and optical neural networks applications.
The successful applicants will have a PhD in Physics or equivalent degrees with expertise in design, fabrication and/or characterisation of advanced linear and nonlinear materials and nanophotonic devices.
The posts are available for 24 months starting Feb 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter, and can be extended in alignment with performance and project requirements.
