We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our Strategic Planning, Performance and Insight Team in this newly established and exciting role. The team provides institution-wide coordination of strategic planning and links long-term priorities to performance tracking and monitoring, ensuring the University delivers on its ambitions at every level. Reporting to the Executive Director: Planning, Projects & Operations the role of Head of Strategic Planning and Performance will play a pivotal role in enabling and driving the institution’s strategic agenda forward.
You will provide strategic leadership for the university’s planning and performance functions, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and priorities. This role is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of planning frameworks, student number forecasting, and performance monitoring systems. You will play a key role in supporting the university’s executive team by providing high-quality analysis and advice to inform strategic decision-making.
Working closely across professional services and the faculties through the embedding of a new business partnering model, you will lead the coordination of the annual planning cycle, integrating academic, financial, and workforce planning processes. This includes managing the fee-setting process, overseeing capital investment planning, and ensuring that planning outputs are consistent, evidence-based, and aligned with institutional KPIs. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a critical function and contribute directly to its long-term success.
