Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Creative AI

We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Creative AI to join the School of Creative and Cultural Industries at UCA Farnham.

The School is a vibrant community of students, educators, researchers, and industry specialists, united by a commitment to high-quality teaching, leading research, and meaningful knowledge exchange with industry. We have strong links with the creative technology and gaming sectors, alongside a dedicated incubator programme supporting students to develop creative IP and promote their work externally.

The School is also home to ISEA International, a global non-profit organisation fostering interdisciplinary exchange across art, science, and technology. In recent years, we have secured over £3M in external funding to support facilities, research, and industry-facing collaborations. Our specialist facilities include games and creative technology labs, motion capture, volumetric capture, and virtual production.

The role is based at our Farnham campus, just outside Guildford, and reports to the Programme Director for Computing and Creative Technology. You will contribute to the delivery and development of Creative AI within our Computing and Creative Technology programmes and may also teach across related courses within the School.

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative educator with experience of student-facing delivery in higher education, including curriculum design aligned to creative technology practice. You will coordinate and deliver teaching in Creative AI, develop new learning and teaching approaches, and contribute to course administration, marketing, and student recruitment activities.

You will have a good honours degree (ideally with a postgraduate qualification), strong professional experience, and up-to-date knowledge of developments in Creative AI and the wider creative industries. An interest in research and/or professional practice is desirable.

You will be an effective team player with excellent organisational and communication skills, and a proactive approach to teaching innovation.
