The Placements and International Programmes Office (PIP) is responsible for the governance, business processes, promotion and management for all off-campus study and work (both UK and International) including student exchanges/study abroad, work placements and fieldwork. PIP works closely with partners across the globe and also admits, welcomes and supports, all our incoming study abroad/exchange students. This is an exciting time to join a well-established team as we seek to grow study abroad and work placements.
Placements and International Programmes Administrators play a key role in the promotion and administration of overseas study and work placements, in providing information, guidance, and support to students who participate in study exchanges both inbound to Manchester and outbound worldwide, and in supporting with the administration of international mobility funding and associated compliance.
You will have demonstrable experience of providing information and guidance to students, with excellent customer service skills and a commitment to the student experience. You will have strong organisational skills and attention to detail together with excellent communication skills (written and oral). Prior experience of international mobility work and/or of studying or working abroad is desirable.
