The University of Exeter Business School has developed a suite of Degree Apprenticeship programmes designed in collaboration with employers to meet all aspects of the apprenticeship standards. UEBS aims to fulfil employer expectations and includes employer involvement right from the start of the degree.
Our design is premised on the assumption that the most authentic and powerful pedagogy is one that focuses on the identification, analysis and resolution of immediate problems in the apprentices’ world, therefore these programme link learning directly to the working professional. We believe that this philosophy directly fits with the requirements laid down by apprenticeship standards, serving both apprentice and employer.
The role
The role of Associate Lecturer (Education and Scholarship) will include supporting the student learning experience using a range of approaches and modes of delivery appropriate to the teaching allocated, specifically the delivery of the leadership and management apprenticeship programmes. This will include delivery across a range of modules within this subject area. These programmes are delivered through blended learning, a mixture of online, on-campus and employer premises masterclasses with a significant element of workplace learning and assessment.
