Applications are invited for a circa 6-9 maternity cover, full-time academic post as a Lecturer/Assistant Professor (above or below the bar) in the area of sport and exercise science in the UCD School of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Sports Science. The role will focus on exercise testing and exercise prescription. The role will encompass the design, delivery and assessment of undergraduate programmes, primarily related to exercise physiology, strength and conditioning and/or motor control. The post holder will be expected to contribute to research led teaching within the school. The School is a multidisciplinary unit which is highly research active; the post holder will support and contribute to the research endeavours of the School, research student supervision and to school administration. The successful candidate will be expected to participate actively in the academic life of the School and make a contribution to School administration.
