Clinical Education Fellows: MBChB Programme (5 posts for August/September 2026 start, 1 post for February 2027 start). Salary is paid at current clinical salary base rate.
As a resident doctor (post F2) involved in acute primary or secondary care, this post offers you an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in medical education and join our inspiring team at the University of Liverpool School of Medicine.
All posts are based in undergraduate education and involve teaching within a range of clinical areas. Six posts are available across three pathways:
The ‘Clinical Education Fellow (Anatomy portfolio) (1 post)’ will primarily undertake teaching of student doctors within the Human Anatomy Resource Centre (HARC).
The ‘Clinical Education Fellows (Group Teaching) (2 posts for August/September 2026 start, 1 post for February 2027 start)’ will primarily undertake small group teaching of student doctors in years 1 and 2 of the MBChB curriculum, including case-based learning and teaching of communication for clinical practice.
The ‘Clinical Education Fellows (Core Skills) (2 posts)’ will primarily undertake teaching within the Core Skills Supratheme, which includes clinical skills, communication for clinical practice, simulation training, preparation for practice, and pharmacology, therapeutics and prescribing.

These full-time posts are mainly based on the University of Liverpool campus and are available for a fixed term of 1 year, with 5 posts starting in August or September 2026 and 1 post starting in February 2027. A job share would be considered.be considered.
