The School of Health Sciences is committed to developing new opportunities for allied health professional, nursing and midwifery colleagues to develop their careers within the University sector. 

At an exciting time of growth and development, we are seeking to appoint to a new Lecturer in Occupational Therapy post. This post will provide a supportive context for development and the opportunity to strengthen experience and knowledge of learning and teaching, innovation and research. 

You will contribute to the delivery of high-quality teaching in anatomy, physiology and acute physical practice within the school’s undergraduate and postgraduate pre-registration occupational therapy programmes; demonstrate a commitment to academic and professional development, with aspirations to undertake doctoral study within one of five themes: end of life care; ageing and dementia; neurorehabilitation; mental health; social care; and, in time, transition to a research-focused academic role. 

You will hold a current HCPC registration as in occupational therapist and have a first degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area, with experience of undergraduate teaching and student assessment.

This full-time post is available from 2 March 2026 on an indefinite basis. 

UEA offers a variety of flexible working options and although this role is advertised on a full-time basis, we encourage applications from individuals who would prefer a flexible working pattern including annualised hours, compressed working hours, part time, job share, term-time only and/or hybrid working.
