About the Post

- We seek to appoint an experienced Research Fellow in Law to develop and manage knowledge exchange projects within the legal field
- Do you have experience of success in one or more of the following areas?
Developing and running knowledge transfer partnerships (KTPs)
Law and AI adviser knowledge exchange with small and medium-sized enterprises
Developing CPD or micro-credential knowledge exchange workshops
Developing micro KTPs or knowledge exchange sprints
Running knowledge exchange clinics on AI compliance, contracts or IP
Developing larger, successful KE funding bids
- You will work closely with law colleagues and the Director of the Legal Advice Centre, as well as colleagues in the Research Office and the Institute for Social Justice and Crime
- It would be beneficial, though not essential, to be a qualified solicitor, barrister or legal academic and be able to give legal advice as part of the job role
- This post is through the University Higher Education Innovation Fund allocation and is intended to be income-generating with a return on investment expectation in line with HEIF objectives

- The law team are collegiate and student and law skills focused with a passion for developing an innovative law curriculum.

About You

- You should be focused on working to develop KTPs or innovative income-generating knowledge exchange programmes.
- You should be able to lead knowledge exchange projects and the portfolio of knowledge exchange work, and work well with the Director of the Legal Advice Centre responsible for the portfolio of legal advice-related activities.
- You will be an enthusiastic, friendly, innovative and talented knowledge exchange professional with significant legal knowledge.
- Ideally, you will have a proven track record of income generation.
