The University of Huddersfield has an exciting opportunity for a Disability Assessor and Study Skills Support. We are seeking a professional to work in Disability Services, part of the directorate of Student Services, to support the growing number of disabled apprentices.
It is a fantastic time to join Disability Services at the University of Huddersfield as we develop operations, grow our support for apprentices and plan for the future.
You will have experience in offering comprehensive support, advice and guidance to disabled students, the ability to assess an individual’s requirements and good knowledge of how support is put in place for disabled students. As a Disability Assessor and Study Skills Support, you will have the skills and knowledge to work in a busy department with a varied caseload, supporting disabled apprentices through transition into Higher Education and to engage with their studies to achieve positive outcomes. You will play a pivotal role in developing the effectiveness of the service as a whole, and specifically around the provision for disabled apprentices.
