Now, as IADT advances its 2024–2028 Strategic Plan and pursues its ambition to become Ireland’s University for the Creative Industries, the Institute is entering a period of significant growth and transformation. This is a defining moment and we are seeking an exceptional leader to join our Executive Team as Dean of Research and Innovation.

Reporting directly to the President, this pivotal role will shape and deliver a bold, measurable strategy to build research capacity, secure funding success, and position IADT as a national and European leader in creative, applied and interdisciplinary research. You will drive innovation, foster collaboration, and champion excellence across the Institute, ensuring research impact that resonates within academia, industry and society.

The successful candidate will bring substantial senior academic leadership experience, a proven record of strategic delivery, and the ability to lead through collaboration and evidence. Intellectual authority, creativity and resilience are essential, alongside expertise in quality enhancement and capacity building.
