The Hentges laboratory within the School of Biological Sciences wish to appoint a laboratory-based Research Associate to an exciting project exploring the “Impact of chaperone complex variants on congenital heart disease”.
During this position, the post-holder will undertake a range of activities including: Modelling chaperone complex protein variants in human cell lines and zebrafish embryos, using affinity-coupled mass-spectrometry to determine the impact of chaperone protein variants on protein interactions, characterizing cardiac development in zebrafish expressing chaperone protein variants, and characterizing cilia formation and function in zebrafish expressing chaperone protein variants.
