About the role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated marketing professional to join the new marketing team at the Stephen A. Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities as Audience and Campaigns Officer.
This is a unique opportunity to support the early growth of a major new building as part of the University of Oxford. As the Schwarzman Centre prepares to launch its public programme in April 2026, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering marketing campaigns that introduce the Centre, its programmes, spaces and wider public offer to new and diverse audiences.
Reporting to the Audience and Campaign Manager, you will support the planning and delivery of creative, multi-channel marketing campaigns that attract and retain diverse audiences, building loyalty and maximising attendance across the Schwarzman Centre’s cultural and public programmes (www.schwarzmancentre.ox.ac.uk).
You will deliver impactful campaigns from start to finish, working within agreed budgets and timelines, coordinating activity across teams and suppliers, and contributing to inclusive and accessible marketing that reflects the Centre’s values and ambitions.
About you
This role would suit someone with proven experience delivering marketing or communications campaigns, ideally within culture, leisure, tourism or a related sector, who is confident managing multiple projects and working collaboratively in a complex environment.
You will work closely with colleagues across the cultural programme, ticketing and commercial teams, as well as a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, to support both public engagement and income-generating activity. You will bring strong organisational skills, creativity and attention to detail, alongside a commitment to reaching new and diverse audiences.
If you are interested in the role and would like an informal conversation in advance of the deadline, please email the Audience and Campaign Manager, Jasmine Gauthier, at jasmine.gauthier@humanities.ox.ac.uk.
The duties and skills required are described in further detail in the job description.
