The Role
Do you have a passion for video and live performance? GSA is seeking an experienced Performing Arts Technician (Video & Digital) to join our Technical Team within the Operations and Events Department at the University of Surrey.
In this specialist role, you will support the delivery of GSA’s diverse programmes, with a particular focus on theatre productions, technical lectures, and live events. Working collaboratively with academic staff, professional colleagues, and students, you’ll help realise high-quality productions while sharing your expertise to develop the next generation of theatre professionals.

Our technical team provides equipment support, mentoring, maintenance, and expert guidance across all activity areas. Delivering an exceptional student experience is at the heart of everything we do.
About You
You’ll bring professional experience in a video department within live performance, theatre, events, or a related field, ideally with some experience in a conservatoire or higher-education environment.
