About the role
This is an exciting chance to be part of the children’s nursing lecture team at a progressive and cutting-edge University in a beautiful location, where you can really make a difference.
As a lecturer at University of Plymouth, you will be expected to contribute to, and as appropriate, lead the provision of high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, scholarship and knowledge transfer. To deliver high-quality teaching requires a children’s nursing lecturer to maintain and grow their knowledge and skills base, as an expert in their field.
You will specifically contribute to the academic development of children’s nursing relating to the care of children and families across all healthcare settings. You will join our enthusiastic and proactive children’s nursing team who have expertise in primary and secondary care teaching across all programmes where children and young people come into contact with healthcare. Our teaching span across undergraduate and post-graduate delivery and we as a university are pleased to include the development of Advanced Clinical pathways.
For this role, you will need to be on site 3 days a week. Although we can accommodate working from home for this role, flexibility to be on-site will be expected due to business needs.
Due to the nature of this role, a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service Check will be required.
The successful candidate may be required to obtain an ATAS Certificate prior to this research being undertaken.
