Senior Veterinary Surgeon (Lecturer or Senior Lecturer) Small Animal Primary Care Practice

We seek to appoint an experienced Veterinary Surgeon (MRCVS or eligible to be registered by start of appointment) to join the primary care veterinary clinical team (small animal).

The ideal candidate will be experienced in medical and surgical routine and emergency cases and have the experience to support veterinary undergraduates and less experienced colleagues in these cases. 

You must have relevant experience in primary care veterinary practice and ideally have previous leadership experience. Completion or currently undertaking a postgraduate certificate is desirable, but not essential.

This post will be based in the clinical team in the University Veterinary Practice based at the University of Liverpool main campus.

This is a permanent, full-time (1 FTE) post, from 1 April 2026. Working hours will include Monday to Friday and also will include participation in the Saturday morning clinical rota.
