Main duties and responsibilities
You will participate in teaching, assessment and module management on the programmes delivered by the Diagnostic Radiography team and will have the opportunity to contribute to research. For this role you will participate, as required, in development and reviews of programmes including inter-professional developments across the School. You will contribute to the interview admissions team for the undergraduate and Pre registration MSc Diagnostic Radiography programme. In addition to this you will contribute to the on-going evaluation and review of the School’s activities.
Skill and experience required
You will be an experienced Diagnostic Radiographer with the HCPC with recent academic and/or clinical experience in the UK and will have a broad experience of relevant Diagnostic Radiography practice.
You will be expected to have a sustained interest and knowledge of contemporary Diagnostic Radiography practice. In addition to this you should have good oral and written communication skills as well as an ability to work without close supervision and work effectively as part of a team. Having a willingness to contribute to inter-professional teaching and learning activities and to undertake Diagnostic Radiography research is also essential.
Qualifications required
For this role you must hold a degree (or equivalent level 6 qualification) in Diagnostic Radiography or related discipline, as well as a Master’s degree or close to completion of a Master’s degree (or equivalent level 7 qualification) in a relevant subject or substantial clinical experience as a radiographer. You must also have registration with the Health and Care Professions Council as a Diagnostic Radiographer.
