About the role
The School of Management is seeking an experienced and highly organised Assessment Manager to lead our specialist Assessment Team. This key role ensures that undergraduate and postgraduate assessments are delivered fairly, accurately, and in line with University regulations.
You will provide operational leadership for the Assessment Team, overseeing marks processing, exam boards, and student records. Acting as a trusted adviser, you will guide academic and professional colleagues through complex assessment processes, ensuring compliant, consistent, and student-focused outcomes.
A crucial part of the role is driving continuous improvement, using insight and data to refine processes, enhance efficiency, and deliver a seamless assessment experience. You will also plan and manage workloads for peak periods, support team development and wellbeing, and ensure the team has the capacity and capability to meet demanding deadlines.
