The role
Working as part of the International Marketing team, the International Marketing Officer will support the design, development, delivery and evaluation of innovative and effective international recruitment marketing campaigns, aligned with the University of Surrey and departmental strategic objectives.
This role plays a key creative and strategic part in bringing international marketing campaigns to life. Working closely with the Head of International Recruitment (Marketing), you will help deliver integrated international marketing plans across multiple channels, combining strong design capability with compelling copywriting and content creation skills.
You will be responsible for creating high-quality marketing assets and promotional materials, supporting international student ambassador activity, and ensuring brand-consistent delivery across all touchpoints. As an experienced copywriter, you will develop engaging, audience-led content for a wide range of channels, including email campaigns, social media and third-party platforms.
You will manage a busy workload, adapt to changing priorities, and contribute to meeting the University’s international recruitment, reputation and income-generation objectives.
