TORS
Our Directorate of Technical Operations, Resources and Services (TORS) delivers a broad range of high-quality technical support activities and related services across both the learning and teaching and research and innovation portfolios.
The newly refocused team supports a wide range of applied research across the University’s research centres i.e. biomolecular sciences, advanced wellbeing, materials engineering and food innovation, and is also involved significantly with supporting applied learning and teaching.
The Science and Technology (S&T) technical team sits within TORS to provide specialist support for laboratory activities within three main schools: Biosciences and Chemistry, Engineering and Built Environment and Sheffield Business School.
