Richmond American University London, a unique institution offering students a blend of US and UK higher education, seeks a passionate Associate Professor of Accounting and Finance and Programme Director BSc Accounting and Finance. You will join a dynamic team within the Richmond Business School, contributing to our mission of educating future generations of business leaders. Please note that the Programme Director role of this appointment is a four-year, fixed term basis.
The Associate Professor and Programme Director will work with the Head of Department in providing academic leadership in all aspects of course design, teaching, research, scholarship and service for UG and PG programmes in line with the University’s Vision, Mission and Values. You will work with the Head and faculty to enhance the programmes in design and delivery of high-quality teaching; lead and manage relevant business accreditation and induct and mentor new adjunct faculty.
The successful candidate will be educated to a postgraduate level (or equivalent) and hold a PhD (completed or near completion) or equivalent industry/professional experience. You will have demonstrable experience of delivering high quality teaching and have proven ability to manage own teaching and related administrative duties. You will have highly developed oral and written communication skills, demonstrating ability to communicate complex information to a range of audiences including internal and external stakeholders.
