SFF currently manages over 210 University scholarship programmes for 1,700 students, worth over £62m per year. SFF’s scholarships team is a friendly and supportive group, which is currently growing from 12 to 14 people. The size and experience of the team helps us to ensure new team members can settle in quickly and thrive in their new role.

What We Offer

Working at the University of Oxford offers several exclusive benefits, such as:

  • 38 days of annual leave, with options to buy more and extra leave for long service.
  • Generous family leave, including up to 26 weeks’ full-pay maternity/adoption and 12 weeks’ paternity/partner leave.
  • Flexible working, a strong pension scheme, commuting support, and access to social and sports clubs.

About the Role

This is a new role created to provide additional support for the University’s Clarendon Fund Scholarships. As the Fund grows and the University expands scholarships for outstanding postgraduate students, we are expanding the team.

You will also support scholars during their time at Oxford and help develop resources that underpin the Fund, working with colleges, departments, and professional services across the University.

While we are ideally seeking someone who meets the selection criteria, we are committed to development. If you have transferable skills and are motivated to grow in the role, we welcome your application.

About You

You will need to be innovative, organised, detail-oriented, and able to build strong relationships with partners. Using your numeracy and IT skills, you will improve scholarship administration and help maximise their impact on students’ lives.

Application Process

To apply, please upload:

  • A covering letter/supporting statement, saying how you meet the criteria for the role and your motivation for applying for this role
  • Your CV
  • The details of two referees

The closing date for applications is 12 noon on Monday 9th March.

Interviews will take place on Thursday 26th March, and will be held in person at the University Offices, Wellington Square, Oxford.
