About the role
We are looking for a Learning Technologist to join our established digital education team to support the Faculty of Medicine with the configuration of relevant learning technology systems and platforms, including a bespoke e-portfolio system, development of learning assets, and ongoing technical assistance, including support tickets.
What you would be doing
As the postholder, you will work closely with the Faculty of Medicine’s Digital Education Office (DEO) and Faculty stakeholders to analyse and identify the e-learning needs at Faculty, Department and Programme level to design and implement e-learning technologies and interactive multimedia resources most suited to the curriculum of the departments’ education programmes. You will also provide advice, guidance, demonstrations and training to academic and administrative staff on the use of the virtual learning environment (VLE) and associated technologies used in teaching, learning and assessment.
What we are looking for
You will have a strong Learning Technology background, experience of or interest in Learning Design, AI and VR. Strong ability for collaborative problem-solving and suggesting practical and sustainable solutions is essential, as are experience of dealing with customer (students and staff) enquiries and a drive to explore new technologies and applications.

It supports a suite of blended and online programmes across the Faculty, as well as open content (MOOC) and online short courses provision.
This is a full-time post (35 hours per week).
