Leeds Beckett University is currently seeking to appoint a Course Director in Sport Management to lead on the delivery and development of postgraduate taught, continuing professional development and executive education provision in the subject. We are looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic academic to support the leadership of a team of experienced staff and to make a key contribution to our provision through teaching, research and knowledge exchange.
Applications are invited from persons with suitable professional, managerial and academic backgrounds to lead this curriculum area. The post holder will need to have appropriate experience within the wider Sport Management discipline, with extensive knowledge and experience of course management and innovation, with an ability to support the leadership of the undergraduate portfolio. They must demonstrate a track record of research and professional practice within their discipline, leading to impactful research and/or knowledge exchange activities.
The successful applicant will join an established School that has seen significant investment and growth in staffing, undergraduate and postgraduate taught provision, postgraduate research, collaborative partnerships and facilities in recent years.
