The Student Fees and Funding team is a friendly, supportive group of around 35 staff who manage central fee processes and a range of financial support and funding opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate applicants and students. This includes scholarships, bursaries and loan programmes, international schemes and central financial assistance, working closely with a range of stakeholders across the collegiate University to support students to pursue their studies.

About the Role
This role is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of the delivery of access to education at Oxford, part of the group responsible for administering a wide range of financial support and for providing guidance on funding opportunities to support students to succeed in their studies.
The Student Funding Administrator will be responsible for processing student applications for financial assistance in line with University guidance. Alongside this, the postholder acts as Secretary to the University Financial Assistance Committee to support termly meetings, conducting casework and administering related funding.
The role also plays an important part in providing clear, accurate and empathetic guidance to prospective and current students, as well as to colleges and University staff.
About You
You should have strong administrative, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team. Good IT skills, numeracy, and empathy for students needing support are essential. A genuine interest in student funding issues in UK higher education is also important.
