Location: Central Cambridge
We are looking to recruit a part-time Outreach and Communications Co-ordinator for 36 months, starting as soon as possible, to join the friendly administrative team in Sociology.
The role will cover all areas of communications and outreach activities for the Department and will involve developing new initiatives. The role holder will focus on the dissemination and promotion of the world class teaching and research in the Department, and on increasing interest from prospective students in its courses.
The role holder's duties will be:
You will be proficient in communicating complex information to a wide audience and be skilled in working with websites, social media, and in organising events.
The Department of Sociology is part of a joint undergraduate degree programme in Human, Social and Political Sciences (HSPS) and also has a vibrant MPhil and PhD programme. There are currently about 80 students working on PhDs on a diverse range of topics in sociology.
