Salary: £36,513 to £41,565 per annum inclusive, with potential to progress to £44,468 per annum
inclusive of London Allowance

This is a fixed-term appointment for 18 months, with any extension subject to available funding.

The Department of Mathematics is a medium-sized department at the London School of Economics with renowned research strengths in mathematics related to the social sciences, substantial undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, and providing a number of large service courses to the School.

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Programmes Administrator to join our small, dedicated Professional Services Team.  The post holder will play a vital part in providing efficient and comprehensive administrative support for our taught programmes, ensuring their smooth and effective delivery while helping to create an excellent experience for both students and staff. 

Candidates should have:

• Experience of working in higher education
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to liaise professionally with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
• Proven organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise a varied workload and consistently meet agreed deadlines
• Excellent IT skills and willingness to learn new systems
• Experience of working successfully as part of a team and contributing to the effective team performance.
