About the role

The successful applicants will join the Accounting, Finance and Law Division (AFL), one of four Divisions within the School of Management. The Division’s teaching portfolio includes a specialist undergraduate BSc in Accounting and Finance and a range of postgraduate MSc degrees (in Finance, Accounting & Finance, Finance & Banking, Finance & Risk Management). In addition, our new BSc Finance which will take its first students in September / October 2026. The School is also responsible for teaching courses in accounting and finance to students within the university outside the School of Management. We operate a two semester academic year, starting in September / October for Semester 1, then January / February. Successful applicants should come prepared to take on teaching immediately in Semester 1 2026.

The School of Management has occupied a new building, since late 2022, bringing us together in one convivial place with modern facilities. The University of Bath itself is situated on a campus surrounded by attractive countryside overlooking the centre of Bath, a UNESCO-designated World Heritage City, famous for its Georgian architecture and its cultural festivals. It is a safe and friendly campus with excellent sports facilities. Bath is easily accessible by air, road and rail and located only 100 miles west of London (under an hour and a half by train to Paddington).
