Our University
Ravensbourne University London is a dynamic institution at the intersection of creativity, business, and technology. Based in London’s Design District in the heart of North Greenwich, we are home to a diverse, global community in one of the world’s most vibrant business and creative hubs.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced and forward‑thinking Director of Estates, Facilities and Property Services to lead the strategic development, operation and optimisation of our estate. This is a pivotal role responsible for creating a safe, sustainable, high‑quality and service‑driven environment that underpins our teaching, and student experience.
A senior estates and facilities leader with substantial experience managing hard FM, soft FM, Health & Safety and large‑scale property operations within a complex, urban environment. The postholder will bring strong financial, operational and project leadership capability, coupled with the strategic vision to support the University's long‑term estate and sustainability goals.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an inspiring and credible leader with deep expertise in estates, facilities and property services. You will be confident operating at a senior level, able to balance long‑term strategic planning with the demands of day‑to‑day operational leadership. You will bring integrity, strong judgement, and the ability to motivate teams through change. A commitment to sustainability, service excellence, safety and continuous improvement will be core to your approach. You will also be collaborative, approachable, and skilled at building strong relationships across academic and professional communities.
Professional qualifications (e.g., MRICS, MCIOB, CFM) and experience within Higher Education are desirable but not essential.
