The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Innovate UK funded project ‘CHERI-Zephyr++: A memory-safe, lightweight real-time operating system for critical RISC-V embedded systems’, led by Prof Oswald. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to closely work with the team of Dr Ordean and Dr Jackson (both University of Birmingham) as the main academic project partner.
Key responsibilities:
This post is fixed term and the successful candidate will start as soon as possible and the contract will end on 31/08/2027.
The post-holder is employed to work on research/a research project which will be led by another colleague. Whilst this means that the post-holder will not be carrying out independent research in his/her own right, the expectation is that they will contribute to the advancement of the project, through the development of their own research ideas/adaptation and development of research protocols.
