We are seeking a talented and proactive Senior Internal Communications and Events Officer to join our Marketing and Communications Directorate. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled communicator and experienced events professional to play a central role in shaping the staff and student experience across our university community.
In this varied and high-impact position, you will support the planning, delivery, and evaluation of high‑quality internal communications and engagement activities. You will create compelling content for our internal channels, coordinate key institutional events, and help ensure our staff and students feel informed, connected, and valued.
A major part of the role is leading the end‑to‑end delivery of an annual programme of staff events for the Vice-Chancellor’s Office, celebrating success, championing inclusion, and bringing our values to life. In 2026 and 2027, this will include our flagship Annual Staff Awards. You will ensure all events are well organised, accessible, delivered on time and within budget, and reflect the university’s culture and ambitions.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues across academic and professional services teams, contributing to a consistent, engaging internal communications approach across the institution.
