The Environment Advisor at the University of Northampton plays an important part in the Universities environmental and sustainability agenda. Reporting to the Head of Hard and Infrastructure Services, the post holder will support with:
The post requires the successful individual to have the ability to collaborate with academic and professional staff to embed sustainability and develop a culture of environmental awareness. They will represent the university in consultations with government agencies and professional networks, contributing to sector-wide guidance.

About you
The successful candidate will have project management, good communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
The advisor is also responsible for maintaining accurate data systems, producing reports for senior committees, and supporting investigations into environmental incidents. Flexibility to participate in university events and a commitment to inclusivity, trust, sustainability, and aspiration are expected. This post is ideal for a proactive professional dedicated to driving institutional sustainability and environmental excellence.
