This post is full time (35 hours per week) and is fixed term for up to 12 months in the first instance.
The School of Computing Science are seeking a Research Associate who will make a leading contribution to the "SAFEVID-TREs: Spasms Analysis using FEderated learning from VIDeos across multiple TREs" project on analysing infant body movements from video, working with Dr. Edmond S. L. Ho.
This is an Interdisciplinary project with project partners from different sectors, including Health Informatics Centre (HIC) at the University of Dundee and NHS West of Scotland Innovation Hub to provide a secure cloud computing platform for Federated Learning and Machine Learning model development, and clinical researchers from NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals as well as help manage and direct this complex and challenging project/disciplinary area as opportunities allow.
