- ABOUT US -

We are a university with a national and international reputation for excellence, innovation, and regional engagement, making a major contribution to the economic, social, and cultural development of Northern Ireland.

Our core business activities are teaching and learning, widening access to education, research and innovation, and technology and knowledge transfer.

- THE ROLE -

The Project Support Analyst will provide essential project and programme support within the Digital Project Management Office (DPMO) and will be initially deployed full-time to the University’s multi-year corporate Finance system replacement project.

Working closely with the Project Manager, the Project Support Analyst will provide high-quality project administration, governance support, reporting, stakeholder coordination, and risk/issue monitoring. The role requires the ability to deputise for the Project Manager when required, ensuring continuity of project operations and maintaining programme momentum. A key aspect of the role is to support clear, effective communication across a large and complex stakeholder landscape. The successful candidate will need strong communication skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels, contribute to workshops, and support the preparation and delivery of presentations and project updates.

This role is critical to ensuring that the Finance system replacement project progresses in a controlled, well-governed manner and that accurate, timely information is available to leadership and stakeholders. It requires a structured, proactive approach, with the ability to manage competing demands and maintain high-quality documentation and reporting. The DPMO operates within the Digital Programme & Innovation Office (DPIO), which is part of the wider Digital Services Directorate, and collaborates closely with the wider University teams to support the successful delivery of the University’s digital change portfolio.

- ABOUT YOU -

- Hold a degree or postgraduate qualification, or can demonstrate an equivalent level of professional experience.
- Experience providing structured project support within a project, programme, PMO, business change or similar environment, including maintaining documentation, RAID logs and reports.
- Experience coordinating project meetings, workshops or stakeholder sessions, including preparation of agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
- Demonstrable achievement in contributing to the successful delivery of a project or workstream through effective organisation, administration, and communication.
- Willingness to travel between campuses to meet the needs of the role.
