Are you a Pharmacist Educator with experience in leading education initiatives? Are you looking to integrate your knowledge base of pharmacy and contribute to the delivery of pharmacy undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes? If so, we would welcome an application from you.
Our flagship undergraduate programme is the 4-year Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) degree course. In addition, we are renowned for our taught postgraduate pharmacy programmes, especially the Independent Prescribing programmes, accredited by a range of healthcare regulators.
The Medway School of Pharmacy is a collaboration between the Universities of Greenwich and Kent, based on the joint Medway campus of both Universities, which is located next to The Chatham Historic Dockyard.
The Medway School of Pharmacy has a vibrant research programme over a wide range of research areas arranged in three cognate areas (Biological Sciences; Chemistry and Drug Delivery; Clinical and Professional Practice) and a large postgraduate research student and research associate body.
As a Senior Lecturer in Clinical and Professional Practice you will lead on the placement competency within the MPharm programme, contribute extensively to the design and delivery of the taught programme and modules and teach in the area of clinical and professional practice.
You will have a background in Clinical and Pharmacy Practice and you will contribute extensively to the design and delivery of the MPharm linking this to placement experience. The primary function of this role is to develop the Medway School of Pharmacy provision of placements within the Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) course, along with the provision of support for foundation year MPharm graduates (viewing this as a 5-year curriculum).
